My Story

It all started with a cookbook.

In 2014 I came up with the idea to make a cookbook of my husband’s grandmother’s recipes. She was 95 years old at the time and renowned in the family for her cooking and desserts. The amount of joy and love she poured into each dish was truly palpable.

The book was completed in 2019 - just in time for her 100th birthday celebration. At that point it had become more than a simple cookbook, I had accidentally created an heirloom.

I quickly saw how much joy the book brought others. With her passing later that year, the cookbook allowed us to feel close to her through her food and photos even without her being physically present.

It wasn’t long before I heard from friends and family who wanted to create similar keepsakes for their own families, and I began to dream of creating beautiful tributes for others.

Welcome to Heirloom Collaborative.
